My standard and extended disclaimer both apply to this rebuttal, and - Re: How close is too close to a star going bad?
Correct, we'd be sort of cooked as well as having been nicely
irradiated to death. In fact it might even cause a global flooding as
well as a mass extinction of what caused the final demise of all them
pesky dinosaurs and the like. Perhaps a similar local demise to being
surrounded by that terrific molecular cloud that gave birth of those - Re: How close is too close to a star going bad?

Since we would not survive direct radiation, it doesn't really matter.
I worry about the dust cloud, that would reflect the Sun's light back
in, or at least act like a 10 or 30 K background, that would thereby
increase all our temps by a similar amount. - Re: How close is too close to a star going bad?
Other examples of stars going out with a bang, meaning nova or
supernova, are not terribly hard to find, and it seems likely they too
could have offered some negative impact upon our environment if within
100 light years distance. The Kepler supernova is a good overkill
example of what Sirius(B) could have had to offer if it had consumed - Re: How close is too close to a star going bad?

Would it be safe for us if we were parked a light year away from this

Cholesterol
Generic Pravachol is used lowering high cholesterol and triglycerides
in certain patients. It also increases high-density lipoprotein (HDL,
"good") cholesterol levels. It is used along with an appropriate diet.
It is also used in certain patients to reduce the risk of heart
attack, stroke and death due to coronary heart disease; to slow blood - Not a word is spoken against this measure, but for those who intend to rob ourselves blind further

Apparently the mainstream voodoo taboo/nondisclosure about the planet
Venus is very strong.
Looking at what's fairly easy to see and interpret is quite upsetting,
to think that your very own faith and its government have been hiding
this information for more than a decade, should be another wake-up

Has Venus got intelligent other life? (compared to Earth, how hard
could that possibly be?)
Intelligent other life need not be as socially dysfunctional or as
radio/microwave capable as us in order to count, such as 99.9% of
Earth’s human intelligence took place as of prior to our having radio,
and perhaps even including before having airships of various kinds. - Re: STEVEL - AMERICA MURDERS ALL
